Dinner in a Dry Dam
is a musical supper held by candlelight in dry dam country. Hosted by a woman with a song in her soul and a shotgun by her side, dressed to kill and with only one thing left to lose.

With cocktails of jubilation and hors d’oeuvres of lament, this performance is a celebration in song. Prepare to charge your glasses to toast the dignity, humour and strength that we all share in dry times. Premiering at the 2009 Castlemaine State Festival, Dinner in a Dry Dam celebrates our extraordinary capacity to confront and transcend struggle.

Dinner in a Dry Dam has received support from Regional Arts Victoria, Arts Victoria, the Malthouse Theatre, Workspace Australia, & The Capital - Bendigo’s Performing Arts Centre.

Miss Friday's Dance Class for all the World and her Partner.

A Punctum exploration of an "invitation"

Punctum occupies a big hall with a small dance class that's shaking on its last legs. It's a dance class where the audience/participants really learn to dance and where Miss Friday and her partner rebel against "end times". A work about resilience, desire and why the Evening One Step is like chocolate pudding made with love.

Creation and Artistic Direction - Jude Anderson
Musician/Performer – Justin Marshall
Dance Teacher – Megan Beckwith
Actor – Ian Scott

Miss Friday's was launched during the 2009 Castlemaine State Festival and coming again soon!
