By Triage Live Art Collective with Clair Korobacz
ICU, Halford St, Castlemaine.
Welcome to death, it's almost as exciting as life.
The Infirmary is a participatory and immersive performance installation which explores the thematics of inter‐generational relations, the competence of children, sly humour, and the frailty of adults. The project aims to advance the scope of live art by cutting across several 'taboos' at once - illness, ageing, and death. By enabling audiences of different ages to intersect and to 'play' at and with, life and death - the aim is to open up rich experiences and conversations about the often unexplored terrains of human tenderness.
